Kelly Made It with Pink Paislee

Hello, hello crafty friends!

I joined in with Challenge #8 at Paige Evans‘ Facebook Group ‘Happy Scrappy Place’

Monochromatic! I’ve actually been thinking about this type of layout for a bit and was excited to join in. Since I really love working with Paige’s collections, I had a good bit to pick from. I chose shades of Seafoam to back Paige’s ‘BEAUTIFUL’ cut-file. It’s #269065 in the Silhouette Studio Design Store. Paige generously gifted it to friend’s of her Facebook Group πŸ˜€

After backing the cut-file, I stitched around the letters with variegated embroidery floss that changes shades every 4 inches or so. It was fun to see the changes in colour from blue to aqua to seafoam while I stitched.

Working in a triangle to embellish my layout, I added this collage of flowers to the top right. The beautiful gold foiled butterfly is from Paige’s ‘Turn The Page’Β collection. Use the link to see gorgeous layouts with this collection by her talented design team!Β  The flowers are also cut-files by Paige Evans and available in the Silhouette Design Store.

Shop for Rolled Flowers #242203, #267510 and #239848. I’m a bit addicted to them and love how you can make multiple sizes from one cut-file to make the perfect bouquet.

I chose the acrylic gold frames (by Crate Paper) so that the stitching wouldn’t be hidden under the photo’s, plus they complemented the gold glitter and Washi Tape I applied around the background of my Layout.

If you’ve followed my page for a while, you’ll recognize a smattering of sparkling goodness all around the layout. IncludingΒ  sequins, thread, gold paint, Stickles and Nuvo Drops in white.

Thank’s so much for your visit!

Happy Scrapping!

    1. Thanks so much for coming by! This is my favourite Siddy and Pauline pic! Mr Siddy looking so dapper in his tie. Such a great little personality he has and made our trip that much more fun! Cheers!

    1. Hello dearest ! I’ve used two of my favourite photo’s of all my favourite people and Siddy of course πŸ˜€ I’ve just been to Laurie’s Blog to see all her gorgeous photo’s of her adventures. It’s beginning to feel a bit surreal that we traveled so far and were able to be together. I wish I’d taken more video to replay. Next time I will ❀ Thank's so much for your lovely message too. xo k
