Hello friends, Happy New Year !
I’m really excited to share my first project of the year for Paige Taylor Evans ! Even though my Christmas tree is still up (I’ve been busy 🤣), Valentine’s Day is just over a month away. Naturally, I thought a layout of LOVE might be inspiring just now and how fun to use Paige’s pretty Bungalow Lane collection. It’s so versatile and the dark navy and pink combo are perfect for a couples layout.
I’ve made this layout with both sides of Paper 16, A side of Paper 7, and the B side of Paper 10 along with two of Paige’s Exclusive Bundle Cut Files. If you’re not familiar with Paige’s Cut File Bundles, let me catch you up. You get cut files that are exclusive to the Bundle, aren’t available anywhere else or sold individually. Within the Bundles, the cut files work out to just $1.00 each !! That’s a lot of scrapping for not a lot of money!
‘Dangling Hearts’ is from Paige’s 14 Days of Valentine/Love Cut Files Bundle
‘This Is Us’ is from Paige’s ’20 Family & Friends Cut Files Bundle’
I cut the title from white AC Cardstock twice and used spray glue to put them together. I like how it gives it a weightier look. The letters are popped up with foam tape as was the entire title. I really love the copper foil in the Epoxy Stickers Pack and the butterfly added a nice bit of glamour on top.
I used a simple border bunch to add a white strip to the top of the Dangling Hearts cut file. It allowed me to add a strip of foam tape beneath so I could pop that up too.
I chain stitched around the hearts with photos.
While a number of the hearts were made into shakers.
Some of the hearts are triple-layered. I made each layer in the Silhouette Studio using the Internal Offset Tool.
Finally, using a pen and my Cameo, I journaled the number of days since we were married on the last open heart. Whew, that’s a whole lot of hugs and kisses, tears and smiles too. That’s a whole lot of awesome 💗 Speaking of awesome, I hope you’ll take a boo at Paige’s collection of Bundles and create something pretty to celebrate all the love in your life too xo.
See you again soon, Kelly.
A beautiful Valentine’s Day project, Kelly!

With Christmas decorations available in July over the last few years, it can’t be too early for V-day in January 🙂

🤣 true nuff ! Our poor retailers. They’re sure in a struggle these past couple of years. I can hardly blame them for wanting to make some cash-o-la with Christmas stuff in July. Thanks for your visit 💗

Thanks a bunch hon 💗 You can Goggle, ‘how many days since your date’ and get in on the fun 😀 I knew it’d be a lot but still, kind of fun to write it down. xo

It’s just stunning and I love the colors used here. It reminds me of a quilt I have in storage that a friend made. I hope I get it in time for Valentines day. You do amazing work with paper.

Hey hey Vonderfrau ! Are you getting settled in your new digs? Thanks so much for you visit and message. I would usually like to play with a lot more colour but it seemed perfect for a design featuring Jim too. Well Buddy was a boy too, so that counts right? Have a beautiful day sweets 💗💗
