Hello again creative friends!
It’s Day 20 of Paige’s 20 Days of Summer Cut Files Bundle. Don’t you wish there were more !!
These cut files won’t be sold individually anywhere else and you won’t want to miss out! Today’s cut file is called ‘Wildflowers’ and what could be more perfect than Paige’s Bloom Street collection ?!
Instead of paper-backing the cut file, I’ve cut it out of White AC Cardstock and backed that with two shadow cuts, one is blue, one is pink. The photos are of my garden. Did you spot the bunny doing his laundry?
My title, ‘Magical Miracles Happen‘, is a nod to pretty summer flowers bursting forth from the tiny seeds you carefully put in the warm, dark earth. I sure think that’s miraculous, don’t you ?! Of course there’s also whimsical friends to find if you look close enough.
There’s also bumble bee’s happily sprinkling their goodness from bloom to bloom. A little pink umbrella helps out as they go.
My photos were matted on beautiful, mosaic Paper 22 and surrounded with Bloom Street Floral Die Cuts.
I was so excited about the background. I’ve mixed texture paste with Distress Paints (Spun Sugar, Broken China and Squeezed Lemon) then randomly spread the coloured paste over Paige’s brand new Flower Garden 6×6 Background Stencil. There are seven new stencils available as a set or individually. I can’t wait to use them all!
Finally, I’ve added a running stitch of DMC embroidery floss in Pink and blue around my layout, adding tiny pink and blue pearls here and there.

Hi Lavinia! Thank you so much for your message. The Covid crafting palooza continues day by day, LOL. I’m glad to have a hobby that I love so much. My climbing rose is blooming in the garden and I’m so happy to see bumble bees visiting. They seem few and far between in the city. We have a bird bath and a fountain for fresh water and I often see birds splashing around. I love summer and since we can’t go anywhere, I’m enjoying my staycation in our own yard. Stay well and safe!! xK

Jello lovely ❤️ Thanks for visiting and your sweet message. Bloom Street has been so dreamy to create with. The pastels being soft and pretty. It’s been out since January and in just a few weeks, ‘Go The Scenic Route’ will take over my crafty space 😀 It’s bright and bold xox K

Hello Hello Island Girl 😀 Thanks so much Lindy ❤️ I was anxious to use Paige’s new stencils and just added Distress paints. I think it’d make cute wall paper, ha! Remember wallpapering? Apparently it’s hot again. I’m so glad I got this cut file assigned to do, I have lots of garden photos. Have a super week sweets ❤️
