Kelly Made It For Paige Taylor Evans

Can you believe there’s just a little more than 30 days until Christmas?

Christmas is one of my favourite times of the year to scrapbook. Honestly, I’m a vintage soul with a penance for pastel hues of the 40’s and 50’s. Think white, silver and pink Christmas trees, mercury glass ornaments and pastel coloured sugar houses. I even put up an aqua tree in my craft room. Can there ever be too many ornaments?

It’s no wonder that my latest scrapbook layout for Paige’s Silhouette Design Team feels a bit nostalgic.

It’s ‘Snowbaby Fun’!

Though I was the one having all the fun. I got out a few bits of Truly Grateful that I’ve saved from previous projects. I really can’t bare to part with any of it and keep it all in a zippered, clear envelope with the rest of the collection. Before I ever cut into a fresh 12×12, I always check the envelope first.

I wanted to use shades of melon, soft plaid and pink to paper-back Paige’s sweet cut file, Stuffed Stocking. Well, I’m tickled at how it came together! For added texture, I also popped the stocking up over another cut file. It’s Paige’s Christmas Tree Background . I think it looks like a pretty embossed paper.

I do love this little minty coloured bird! Perhaps she’s chirping Jingle Bells?

Thank you so much for coming by and have a beautiful, crafty week dears !

  1. This is gorgeous Kelly. I love reading your story behind the layout. I also keep my little bits of paper. With cutfiles, you only need small pieces. I definitely need that stocking cutfile, I haven’t seen it yet. Tfs x

    1. Hello my friend and thank you so much for coming by. I think we’re smart to save bits, I did this entire layout with pre-cut paper. I know some say they just have too much stuff to save little pieces, but honestly you’re so right, you only need the smallest piece for some cut files. I’ve bought a ton of cut files lately with the Studio sale being all month. I’ll have to live to be 100 to use 1/2 of them, LOL xox K

    1. Hello lovely, and thank you so much for always cheering me on with kindness and wonderful messages. I so appreciate it ❤ You're darn right, time is going by at a dizzying speed. Seems like I just took down my Christmas Tree. In fact it was March 3rd, LOL (a bit of procrastination last year, LOL) ❤ K
