‘Twas The Night Before Christmas With Sugarplum Wishes for Paige Evans

Hi dear friends, thank you so much for coming by. While you’re visiting, I’d like to wish you a beautiful Christmas and healthy New Year too. I’m also sharing my last Design Team layout for 2024.

I love working with Paige’s gorgeous Sugarplum Wishes.  With non-traditional colours and lots of flowers mixed in with traditional colours, it’s so beautiful and offers something for everyone. You can still find a bit of it at Scrapbook dot com. But you’ll find even more at this Canadian craft store, Prairie Haven Paper.

My layout features Paige’s, ‘Twas The Night Before Christmas stitching cut file from the, 25 Christmas Stitching Cut Files Bundle. You can also buy it individually here. I paired it with the same non-stitching cut file to make pop-up letters from various bits of Sugarplum Wishes in my stash.

Using a simple back-stitch and DMC Floss, I stitched each letter onto white AC Cardstock. Then chain stitched a border around it all with Variegated DMC Floss 4502.

Once all my stitching was completed, I cut it out, cutting as close to the outline as possible. I added my photos of Petals and Blossom to look like ornament balls. Including stitching the dangling thread from each.

Did you notice my ‘white-on-white’ background? It’s Paige’s, Star Background, cut file 311026I also cut it from white AC Cardstock. Instead of gluing the stars down completely, I flipped up the tips to add even more texture. So even though is white, I think it still stands out beautifully. What do you think?

Joyeux Noël à tous!

Lucky me, I have a dedicated craft room. I love working with paper to make cards, layouts and Mini Albums. So happy you came by💛

    1. Thank you Lavinia! Happy New Year to you and the ones you love the most. We sure missed Blossom this Christmas. I didn’t even put up a tree. I couldn’t bare to see it without her sleep under it. Maybe 2025 will be better, I have a good feeling 🩷🩷

    1. Thank you so much AC friends! Photos from last Christmas and I cherish them. I didn’t do a tree this year. I couldn’t bare to not see Blossom sleeping under it. Maybe next year. But it was quiet and relaxing, which I love. Cheers freinds 🩵☀️🐾
