Magical Spooktacular Layout for Paige Evans

Hi hi friends 🧡 I’m back with another creation using Paige’s awesome Tricks & Treats. How are your Halloween costumes coming together?

I created this spooky background with Paige’s Cut And Fold Bat Background, but wanted lots of bats, so shrank it to 4.20 inches to repeat it around the page.

I added a scalloped cut around the edge and cut it from Tricks & Treats Paper 12. These types of files are a fun way to reveal both sides of the patterned paper! It’s popped up with 3D Foam Tape over colourful Paper 9.

Now for the main event! I cut Paige’s Sugar Skull Half  from black cardstock twice and glued them together. I like the chunky depth it gave to the file.

I backed it with papers from the collection and added my own, four year old face as the other side of the Sugar Skull, LOL.

In the little vignettes around the skull, you’ll find; Floral Ephemera, Mini Puffy Stickers, Journaling Ephemera, Icon Ephemera, Foam Stickers, Cardstock Stickers, Tricks & Treats Washi Tape and Enamel Dots.

My title was made with Phrase Thickers and for fun, I added some Mini Puffy Stickers. Letter A in MAGICAL is wearing a tiny witch hat, hehe.

I hope you found some cute ideas for your own very, scary, Halloween projects. Find lots more Halloween inspiration right here and here!

Lucky me, I have a dedicated craft room. I love working with paper to make cards, layouts and Mini Albums. So happy you came by💛

    1. Ogee, thank you so much Lavinia! We used to plan for Halloween for months when we lived at the lake. My neighbour and friend, Karen and I put on a party every year for 20 years. Too bad we didn’t have smart phones back then, lol 😂 🧡
