Hello scrappy friends, I’m sharing a new Design Team layout using Paige Evans cute Unicorn cut file. It’s all paper-backed with gorgeous Splendid and Blooming Wild.
I’ve turned our sweet 16 year old rescue kitty, Petals, into a Meowgical Kittycorn.
It seemed fitting for her silly personality. I made all the backing pieces in the Silhouette Design Studio. You can watch the Cameo Tutorial on my YouTube to learn how. I design my entire layout, including colours in the Silhouette Design Space.
After cutting out the Unicorn from white AC Cardstock, I thought a Meowgical Kittycorn would be wearing a cute bandana, and made a cut file you can grab for free here.

Pretty Blooming Wild Paper 24 made it extra girly. I continued the rainbow theme on to the background with a cloud stencil and Oxide Inks. Adding some simple stitching with DMC Floss created even more interest, colour and texture.
I cut some rainbows from Blooming Wild Paper 6 and tucked them into clouds floating around my layout. They’re embossed with stars to add a little bit more texture. A threesome of Blooming Wild Mini Floral Puffy Stickers and fussy cut butterflies take you around the page. I love adding little details.
The title was made with Blooming Wild Thickers. I love all the pretty colours! I hope you’re inspired to make a Meowgical pet of your very own using Paige’s cute cut file and pretty collections! See you again soon.

My dear Herman and sidekick, Jimi ! How very nice of you to say. Petals is quite the personality, we love her so much. Last month, we had to say goodbye to our sweet Blossom. We’re heartbroken. After a cancerous tumour was discovered in her mouth, within two weeks, she could no longer eat. So many tears, as you know, it’s just the hardest thing. Let’s give extra cuddles today, things can change so fast. xxK

So sorry to read about the passing of sweet Blossom. I hope you can find some comfort in the beautiful memories of her. It’s always so hard and painful to say goodbye.
