Happy almost Christmas friends. Ten day countdown, are you ready? I’m sharing a new layout using one of 25 Days of Christmas Cut Files, from Paiges Bundle. It’s called Holly Doily

When you open the file, you’ll see a large doily. As always, I made my backing pieces and decided on colours, right in the Silhouette Design Studio. Watch my Tutorial from last year to see how.
I decided to shrink my prepared doily to 4″x4″ and have four on my layout surrounded by a frame and a Christmas verse. You can watch my tutorial to learn how to wrap journaling around a shape. The information starts at 3:50 in this video.
Here’s how my finished layout turned out.
I stitched a row of pretty beads around the verse with DMC Metallic thread and chain stitched with all 6 strands of white DMC B5200 around the frame featuring the mini doilies.
My Snowbaby photos are surrounded with loads of Sugarplum Wishes embellishments. Can you spot them all? There’s Foam Thickers, Enamel Dots, Cardstock Stickers, Mini Puffy Stickers, Mini Acrylic Sweater and Silver Confetti Snowflakes and glittery stars and flowers from the Sticker Book.
The embellishments rolls across my layout from top left to bottom right. A classic set up but in a new way.
