Hi friends, thanks so much for coming by. Today I’m sharing my latest Design Team layout for Paige using her gorgeous Splendid collection.
After fussy cutting the wreath out of pretty Paper 7 I was able to manipulate the circumference so it could be popped up slightly inside the wreath, on another Paper 7.
This gave me a super lush and layered floral wreath to embellish. I went around the top layer to tweak the flowers and leaves to add even more texture. Then I sprinkled in lots of fussy cut elements from Paper 9. Some were fashioned into small, one-of-a-kind 3D embellishments.
I then got to work with Paige’s Lemon Slice cut file, first cutting it out of Paper 5, then chain stitching with gold metallic thread. I cut out strips of colour from Paper 13 and arranged them onto some scrap cardstock to make the paper backing for the Lemon Slice cut file. I picked up this idea from Zsoka Marko, who uses lots of beautiful techniques on her stunning cards.
Finally, I sprinkled stickers, epoxy shapes and gold hearts around the wreath, along with dabs of inks and gold paint from my stash. I fancied up the date by dabbing three inks on to the Splendid Roller Stamp and made a little collage with some pretty Washi Tape and another sticker.
My title (inspired by lovely teammate Audrey) is a bit of wordplay and a nod to the Lemon Slice cut file and the Bumble bees flying around the wreath. I used the Puffy Mini Alpha to add ‘Juice Bee You’.
The fussy cutting did take a bit of time (3 hours), but I love how it turned out!
Have a beautiful week and see you at Paige’s Happy Scrappy Place.
Cheers, Kelly 💗

Hi hi lovely, thanks so much for your visit and message! It looks like a lot of flowers when you overlay two of the wreaths! It’s a simple cut file but so many different ways to use it. I thought about leaving all the segments out on one side to use like a 1/2 circle of a photograph, But decided on three smaller ones instead. 💗😍
