Is it too late to wish you a very Happy New Year ?!
Hi again and thank you so much for popping in. This is my first layout of the year for Paige, so why not celebrate !? Since my last Silhouette Design Team layout was all about stitching, I was itching to use all the colourful paper and embellishments Truly Grateful has to offer.
My title was made with Paige’s Floral Font cut file. Once the numbers were welded together in the Silhouette Design Studio, I used the ‘Offset’ feature to cut a window, the same shape, out of the background, Paper 17 . I love that Paper 17 has all the colours of this beautiful collection, but is still so subtle. Adding white chain stitching around the window added more texture that I love. My title was paper-backed with complimentary papers from the Truly Grateful 6×8 pad and popped up with 3D tape.
With the title in place, I started to build 3 vignettes full of flowers, leaves, butterflies, birds and colourful little mushrooms around it.
How perfect is this phrase for the beginning of a new year?! Heck, new decade!!
Finally, I added a boarder by sprinkling glitter, two inches at a time, to double sided tape. I added Mini Puffy Letters spelling Hellooo over the title and of course, sprinkled a few sequins around.

Hello hello ! How are you my dear? I’m still here, but totally smitten by scrapping these days so that’s what I’m blogging about. Hey! I just returned from California on Friday, a week with Alys 😀 I found a Christmas Card in my mail from you 😀 LOL, seems to have gone a-stray for some time. Probably at a neighbours. We have the same address, except he’s at 89 street and we are 88 street. We get his mail all the time. Anyways, thank you for your holiday wishes and thinking of me. So nice of you. Yes, I’m on a Design Team for Paige Taylor Evans. She’s one of the kindes, sweetest gals around. So very lucky to be part of the fun.
