Hello Scrappy friends! What are you working on this week?
Now that I have more time at home, I’m finding new inspirations on some wonderful websites. The lovely gals at Paper Issues, have been especially welcoming. They offer fun challenges each month, an inspiring Blog, free Silhouette cut-files and a really supportive team You can join all the fun at their ‘Friends and Fans’ Facebook page.
I’ve had fun joining their monthly ‘Add It Up’ challenge. Where a point value is given to a number of scrapbook products and there’s a target you want to meet. This month, I designed with Crate Paper’s, Good Vibes collection and a cut-file by Paige Evans, available at the Silhouette Studio. I came out with 204 points, but it sure wasn’t easy!
A whole plethora of points hangs on one little safety-pin !
I like to print off the challenge sheet from their Blog so I can stay on track and easily see what I need to use.
Can you spot what else I’ve used from the challenge sheet?
The transparency, by Bella Blvd, is front and centre. I cut out the centre of Paige’s cut-file to make a window. It sits on top of the black cardstock my layout was built on. I liked how the gold lettering echoed the chipboard.

I couldn’t decide on what colour of embroidery floss to use, so I used all the colours in the layout, LOL! Changing the thread four times, from pink, to white, to seafoam and yellow.
I really racked up Alphabet points framing my entire layout with the stamp set.
Since I don’t have to stick to using stuff they currently sell at Urban, I can use anything and everything in my craftroom, and I have a bit 😀
If you’re playing along with their challenges, Paper Issues invites you to share your layout on the Paper Issues Friends and Fans Page too!
Are you looking to reboot your scrapping mojo and be inspired by supportive friends who enjoy paper crafting too? Why not join a challenge? It’s loads of fun!
Do you do any challenges on-line?
Kelly ❤
Don’t Miss
BTW, I loved my parcel from their on-line store! It came quickly and well packed in a cheery box. It’s like Christmas on your doorstep! Shop with confidence, everything was perfect.
What a fun way to challenge yourself. That looks like a pizza box full of fun wrapped in tissue and waiting for your crafty hands to turn it into magic. Will you subscribe once a month? I love this new blog, too. You’ve been a busy woman. Go, Boomdee.

Hey honey! Thanks for coming along for the ride! It’s actually a lot of fun shopping on line. We don’t get the shipping deals that you’d enjoy but there’s so much choice. I wouldn’t have entertained it while I worked for Lori. I always supported the store and we got a good discount. But it works well now and the Paper Issue team is adorable. There are a lot of monthly kits available too at other sites but the shipping thing to Canada is a real pill. I need to do more investigation. I’m trying to fix my template here just now. It’s so narrow and is suppose to accommodate full screen…..I’ve sent an email for assistance. I didn’t want it to be a carbon copy of Boomdeeadda…but may play with another template xoxo ❤
