All The Things: Paper, Fabric, Travel, Love

Hello friends, it’s been three months since posting. I thought I’d make a record of my crafting endeavours. After-all, that’s why I Blog.

My friend Zsoka Marko owns and designs product at A Pocket Full Of Happiness.  I love her style so much. It’s colourful and modern, often geographic. The die-cut pieces come together in so many ways. Using the same die set, you can make a variety of projects. Here are some of my favourite from the past few months.

To see more of Zsoka’s designs, visit my Pinterest Board for A Pocket Full Of Happiness. I also enjoy shopping at a small, woman owned business!! Give her site a visit for more idea’s.

After doing layouts for so many years with Paige Evans’ Design Team, I took a bit of a break. But just last week, I joined Paige at her free, Make With Me Monday virtual class. There are several at Paige’s YouTube to join anytime, anywhere, absolutely free. She always inspires, and this is what I made.

I arranged colourful accordion pieces of paper in a circle, then embellished. The collection is Happy Haven, by Paige Evans.  I also used a lot of stash I have from classic Pink Fresh Studio Collections. They all mixed so well.

All the colour makes me happy!

Finally, I used the same PFS collections to create a 3.5 x 5.5 Mini Album for a scrappy friend. It’s full of Happy Heart and Picture Perfect. I bought ton’s because I loved it so much. Here’s a few pic’s. To see more, visit my Scrapbook dot com gallery!

Here’s something new, I hoard fabric now 😆 After sewing two quilts for friends, I’ve started one for myself. Here’s a little yummy pile of the fabrics I’m using. Most were purchased at Sunny Day Supply I’m totally in love with their selection, and they’re the nicest folks to shop with!

They always send extra treats in your orders, and a handwritten thank-you on the sweetest custom card. True happy mail to be sure!

Coming clean now, that fabric pile grew a wee bit since that photo. The hubster and I just returned from a get-a-way in Vancouver, Canada. A short hour and a half flight took us away from the snow, into the sunshine. There, I hit up a couple of awesome fabric shops. Both, The Cloth Shop and Dresssew Supply are worthy of a visit for quilting enthusiasts. You can’t miss them, their entrance has a bright flowery mural, LOVE it! Visit in person or shop on line!

Best of all, I got to spend an entire day with my bestie Nadine! We laughed so hard.

Tell me what you’ve been up too! How’d you get through winter?
