Vintage Vibes Christmas Layout

Hey hi friends! I’ve been getting into the Christmas vibe with card making and this colourful Christmas layout.

Hard Candy Christmas by Kelly Bangs for Simple Stories offers all the colours I adore. There’s pink, yellow and mint mingling with traditional green and red. The cute icons are a step back to my childhood with fluffy pink trees, ribbon candy, and pretty vintage ornaments.

I’ve been collecting vintage glass ornaments for years and will usually find one or two on our travels. Along the top, I used the Snowflake Die by A Pocket Full Of Happiness and colourful cardstock to create a banner. Check out their Christmas 2025 Release for lot’s of beautiful inspirations.

My photos were framed with another die from A Pocket Full Of Happiness called, Intricate Doily. It’s still available from Doa@ding in the Netherlands. Here’s the link.

The pretty ornament ephemera inspired my layout.

To add a little more detail, I used a splatter stamp with Altenew Ink, Altenew enamal hearts, dabs of gold paint, and some micro mini sequins from my stash.

What have you been crafting this season?  Here’s a few more holiday projects I’ve created with the Christmas 2025 Release from A Pocket Full Of Happiness

Detailed photos and paper product links can be found in my Gallery at Scrapbook dot com. Happy Holiday Crafting friends! 🩷K

    1. Hello lovely Lavinia 🩷 Thank you so much for visiting and your message too. Christmas surely creeps up. I’ve just began to wrap a couple of things I mail away. I did get a small tree up yesterday. The shopping is nuts here all month, so I try to avoid it at all costs. Thank you for your Christmas wish! Sending a Merry Christmas your way. Good health and happiness too!🩷🎅

  1. Those cards are quite the eye opener, Kelly! Wishing you a holiday with as much zip. I’m in overwhelm with all that needs doing but making very slow progress. I need to lock myself in and hide in the sewing room, kitchen baking; never mind, I’ll lock the front door and hide till the whole house is decorated and everything is made. See you next year. ? 🙂 Love and hugs to you, my crafty friend.

    1. Hey hi hello Marlene! Thanks so much for your visit and message. Aw, try not to put too much pressure on yourself. Unless truly enjoy doing all-the-things, it’s not worth getting in a lather. We need to stop judging ourselves against the seasonal measuring stick. It’s more important to just enjoy the vibe of the season. Go out and enjoy the lights and some music. Eat some treats and take it easy my dear.🩷🩷K

    1. Hello my dear Belgium friend 🩷 You have 5 more sleeps until Sinterklaas visits you and Niki! I would imagine he would bring maybe a new toy for Niki. But what would be on your list? Thank you so much for visiting 🎅❤️

      1. Hi Kelly. Ah… you know our ‘Sinterklaas’ tradition? It’s very popular overhere. Niki wil probably get a new toy and I’ll be happy with some dark chocolate (of course…)… 😸😎
