One Day Layout with Adventurous by Paige Evans

Hey hey scrappy friends 🧡. Does it seem like November is flying by? Speaking of flying, my bestie and I recently flew into Montreal for a one day tourist marathon.

I took this photo from the top of a giant farris wheel on the lake front in Old Montreal. I’ve used Paige’s beautiful Adventurous collection! I also used part of her One Day At A Time cut file.

While on our way to an east coast scrappy event, my bestie Nadine and I visited Montreal. It was for only one day, but we made over 16,000 steps that day!! I cut it from AC Cardstock three times. I like the depth created by gluing three cut files together. I paper backed it with colors from Paper 18.

I’ve used pretty  Paper 17 as my background paper. The frames introduce a lot of colour you can incorporate into the rest of a layout. It’s a little change-up from white, but still a neutral background. There’s a wide banner spanning the middle of the page. I made it from the metallic wordie paper found in the 6×8 Paper Pad. I like the bling it added!

I added the narrow, navy, floral Washi Tape to a piece of scratch cardstock. Then used a scalloped punch to make some trim.

A little cluster of elements decorate a Chipboard label. I’m loving the colorful Mini Alpha’s spelling out ‘Old Montreal’. My photo is backed with a pretty postcard and tag from the Journaling Ephemera. Once in place, I created beautiful clusters using the Floral Ephemera, Cardstock Stickers, Enamel Dots, Mini Puffy Stickers, Chipboard flowers, flowers from the Sticker Book, and fussy cut butterflies from Paper 19

I love that there are so many different types of floral elements to layer up in Adventurous ! Including vellum, chipboard, cardstock, rub-ons and stickers. They make every page interesting, colorful and happy! Hey, why not try using a pattern paper for the background of your next pretty layout? It’s a whole different vibe from plain white!

Where are you traveling to soon?

Lucky me, I have a dedicated craft room. I love working with paper to make cards, layouts and Mini Albums. So happy you came by💛

  1. Hey hey Marlene, I was just at your post too. How fun to see you’re message here. Thanks for coming by and your cheer. We all shine in our own way, don’t we? I admire all types of arts and crafts and try to dabble in a few. I’d love to be able to sew better and more often, you’re such an inspiration. For now, I’m still having a great time playing with paper and things. I’m really lucky to be part of Paige’s team for this length of time, I just adore her. When it ends, I’ll take time to learn something new and perhaps it’ll be sewing 😃🩷🌸🧡 Cheers dear xK

  2. That is such a pretty way to remember a trip! How fun. I am not sure I’ll be doing any more traveling though the desire is still there. But dressing up the trip like this would not be in my wheelhouse. You are amazing at it.
