Hello friends, welcome to Day 14,and Paige’s ’25’ cut file.
This cut file is exclusively available in Paige’s 25 Days of Christmas Cut Files Bundle 2021. Just like previous years, you get twentyfive cut files for only $25.00 ! That’s just $1.00 each !
I wanted lots of pattern and colour and filled my whole page with ’25’s . I’ve made three of each design using Paige’s gorgeous Bungalow Lane Collection. My goal was to use one colour per row, but I couldn’t decide between green and blue in the third row. So I went ahead and mixed them together. Did you spot the rolled paper backing three of the cut files?
I cut 3.5″x 1.5″ strips of paper, rolled it around my craft pick and taped it onto a card that I then taped in place on the back of my layout.
If you’d like to make a layout like this, keep in mind that the holes for stitching will get closer when you shrink the cut file. I stitched every other hole instead. Using the holes in the cut file as a guide, I took a pin and pushed it through every other hole to help me see where to stitch. I’ve used 6 strands of DMC floss throughout.
This is what my layout looked like before I added embellishments and photos.
I added two photos using the chipboard frames and made three clusters of embellishments around them.
How cute is Anna?!
The buttons and tag are also Bungalow Lane. The snowflakes, holly leaves and sprigs of pine are hand punches. Of course there’s a smattering of sequins and dabs of gold paint to add extra sparkle.
Paige’s Cut File Design Team has been sharing so many amazing inspirations at ‘Happy Scrappy Place’ on Facebook. Ohmygosh, KMI, that roll of paper is ingenious. When I first saw this on Facebook I thought “oh, Paige has a paper line that looks like rolls of gift wrap. Then I thought “how did she get it to look so three-dimensional?” and now I know. You’re brilliant! The effect is gorgeous! You are one-of-a-kind! xo

I saw Paige do it first a couple of years ago and it’s just now a sort of design trend on layouts. Paige is always ahead of the curve š Stick with me, I shadow all the best people, hehe šš š xK

Hello lovely Helen! Thanks so much for being here and your kind message. Making the LO for someone else makes the project even more fun for me and Anna always has lots of cute photos to scrap! Paige has made amazing layouts using this rolled paper technique and I thought it was such a great way to show a little bit of each paper without it being too busy. Have a wonderful week my friend šš š
