Hello lovely friends!
With Christmas in our back pocket and a new year approaching, I naturally began to reflect on the past year. It’s been such a wonderful year for me!
I feel truly grateful and blessed and that’s the title of my last Silhouette Design Team layout of the year. Someone on the news also reminded me that it was the end of a decade too. That made it all feel pretty significant and I really wanted to do something extra special. Commence stitching….
Have you discovered Paige’s wonderful Sketch & Stitch® files yet? These files first draw the design, then make the holes for your hand stitching. Paige made this handy video to show you how to set up your Cameo!
Brilliant right ?!!
I choose the Snowflake design and pulled out the colours from the B side of gorgeous Paper 12
Who says winter can’t be tropical? Many lovely scrappy friends live far south of the equator and are currently enjoying sunshine and summer vibes. Fast forward through many hours of chain stitching (around 20 but who’s counting), even the back looks pretty.
But it’s the front that steals the show!
I love the colours so much ! After all the stitching, I didn’t need too many embellishments but choose a select few from Paige’s Truly Grateful collection.
Follow me to Paige Taylor Evans.com for all the product detail!
I’d love to see you there ❤ Happy New Year creative hearts!
What a lovely creation. This is really something.

Hello lovely BFF ❤ Thank you for this. It was actually a pleasure to do. I'd definitely leave myself a bit more time next time, but deadlines are a good thing. It really prompts you to keep going 😀 xoxox

True that! I go so much done before my surgery, just knowing I was pushing up against a “get nothing done for weeks” deadline. LOL

knowing you, you’ll make up for it 10 fold after this is behind you. Maybe the girls at Lifted Spirits can FB Video you from the Boutique? That might be nice for a mental break from the daily pain. xoxo

Hello lovely Lavinia and Merry Christmas to you! Thanks so much for your visit and always kind message too! It’s the tropical colours that filled my days before the Holidays 😀 Like sunshine on a winter’s day. Since I’d never attempted so much stitching at once, I really wasn’t sure how it’d be, but I really enjoyed to process. Have a fabulous New Year on your cozy farm with your sweet critters !! xo K
